Toddlers under the age of three may have been receiving services either through the Early Start or Prevention Program. Those programs end at age three and children at that age may then be served through the educational system. This transition means leaving a familiar pattern of services, as the services available after age three are different from those available through the Early Start or Prevention Programs. Parents play a primary role in determining the services needed and continue to have the support of a team including the TCRC Service Coordinator.
