Job Title: RECEPTIONIST (San Luis Obispo and Atascadero Office, Bilingual) 

Job Summary:  Oversee all office reception functions in a person-centered manner including incoming calls, welcome and guide visitors and perform miscellaneous clerical work to support the San Luis Obispo (SLO) Office.

Essential Job Functions: 
1. Receive and direct calls in a professional, respectful manner. 
2. Record and relay accurate messages. 
3. Greet and direct visitors to appropriate areas within the agency. 
4. Organize and distribute data and provide assistance as needed for the SLO Office. 
5. Manage Officer of the Day calendars for office.
6. Sort and/or file documents for office as needed.
7. Assist with facility calls when needed. 
8. Scan documents to e-chart system when needed.
9. May assist SLO Support Staff with various clerical tasks as necessary. 
10. Must be extremely reliable with attendance and conscientious with timely breaks and lunch times. 
11. Responsible for maintaining and scheduling conference room reservations for office.
12. May assist with constructing, sending and receiving letters.
13. Data entry/word processing. 
14. Prepare and receive mail, UPS and other deliveries. 
15. Support SLO Managers, Assistant Directors and Director of Services & Support as well as Supervisor of Support Services North as needed. 
16. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Excellent telephone skills 
2. Legible handwriting 
3. Grammatically correct speaking and writing skills
4. High school graduate 
5. 2-year relevant experience preferred 
6. Good computer skills including MS Word and Excel 
7. Speak, read and write English and Spanish fluently
Physical Requirements:
Adequate manual dexterity and coordination for operation of a computer and other standard office equipment is required for this position. The ability to sit at a workstation for long periods of time, the
ability to read, write and comprehend large amounts of written material such as reports and regulations, use the telephone, and communicate via electronic mail are all required on a daily basis. The ability to
travel to another work-site location is occasionally required. The ability to stand, sit or walk for moderate distances on uneven terrain is also required on a daily basis.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or control and reach with hands and arms. The employee
frequently is required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, kneel, stoop, bend, and squat. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and infrequently up to 20 lbs. Specific vision abilities required
by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Each of these physical tasks is an essential function of the position.

Salary: $15 - $17 hourly
