• Meet Jessica Clay, a dancer who performs integrated dance, and hear how through dance she is creating social change and equality for individuals with disabilities.

• Person Centered Planning approaches and skills to support community inclusion, celebrate diversity and culture, support families and explore the connection between the new HCBS waiver Community Standards and person centered planning.

Pathways to employment and successful job matches.

Are you an Agent for Change?
Beth Gallagher founder and owner of Life Works and Kirk Hinkleman Associate Director of Life Works will share How we effect real, sustainable change within ourselves, our organizations and the systems where we find ourselves using a person centered approach.
Then a follow up session will take a deeper dive into “What More is Possible?” framework and share stories of citizens living to their highest potential future. 

Coming to a Neighborhood Near You: The BFF Project  hosted by Trudy Marsh Grable, a long-time parent advocate in the field of disability issues, family supports and services. As the parent of a young woman with a developmental disability, her daughter became her compass in developing and driving her passions. Come learn how to help youth and adults create life long friendships.

An optional, additional day for PCT Mentors, Trainers & Trainer Candidates to review updates on changes to the 2 day Person Centered Thinking curriculum, practice Person Centered Thinking skills and reflect on the role we have as PCT trainers and how we can further enhance our training deliveries and contribute to the Learning Community.

The California Gathering will be held at the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott in the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. Located near some of California’s renowned wineries and a short drive from Solvang and Los Olivos.

Scholarships Available

If you are a family or individual receiving services from a Regional Center you may request one of our scholarships to waive the cost of registration for more information contact tinac@tri-counties.org or (805) 823-2304 There are a limited number of scholarships and they will be given on a first come first serve basis.

Become a Sponsor

A charitable contribution of $200 will provide registration a scholarship for one person. A charitable contribution of $300 will provide registration and one night lodging for one person. Contributions will be acknowledged in the Gathering program.
