

Meeting your interests through activities and/or employment in a structured day program, usually based in a facility, may be one of your choices according to your Individual Program Plan (IPP). TCRC also has supported alternatives to traditional day services through several pilot programs in 2007.

These services provide for meaningful day activities for adults between the ages of 18 to 59 years of age in licensed and community activities.
TCRC piloted alternative programs in 2006 and 2007. These included micro-enterprise, facility based service with community integrated activities and an adaptor model that establishes networks of resources in the community.
A multi-disciplinary team of licensed professionals, typically speech-language pathologists, physical therapists and occupational therapists, and early intervention specialists, assess and provide intervention services for infants and toddlers, 0-3 years of age.
