California Public Records Act

Effective January 1, 2026, Tri-Counties Regional Center (“TCRC”) is subject to the California Public Records Act (“CPRA”) pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code section 4639.76, as enacted by Assembly Bill 1147 (Disability Equity, Transparency, and Accountability Act of 2024). CPRA requirements ensure transparency, accountability, and timely access to public records. As a publicly funded entity, TCRC recognizes the public’s right to access records related to its operations, decision-making, and use of resources.


TCRC has an online portal for submitting requests. Use the button below to navigate to the portal to submit a request pursuant to the California Public Records Act.  A response will be provided within (10) ten business days of receipt of your request. In some instances, TCRC may require up to an additional (14) fourteen days to respond as authorized by the California Public Records Act.

Requests may also be submitted in-person or over the phone.
