Communities of Practice (COP)

A safe place to practice person centered thinking skills and tools.

Join our next Community of Practice meeting closest to you to share and discuss the topics that matter most to you, and learn about practical Person-Centered practices and skills to address them. We especially encourage those who have completed the Introduction to Person-Centered Thinking Training to attend and build on their current skills. These sessions are proudly supported by Tri-Counties Regional Center and our service provider community. We welcome TCRC employees, provider partners and the people and families we support to attend free of charge with no registration.

These 90 minute in-person sessions are hosted on a quarterly basis at each of our 7 Tri-Counties Regional Center offices. A certificate of completion can be provided to you upon request to highlight your willingness to connect and learn more about person-centered thinking skills and tools to support you and your work. Service providers can use these certificates of completion to meet on-going education hours mandated by Title 17.
